Winters Instruments was established in Toronto, Canada, in 1953, by Erwin Winters, an immigrant from Czechoslovakia. Winters was originally established for the manufacture of pressure gauges and industrial thermometers for the Canadian market.

Over the last 50 years Winters Instruments has grown to supply industrial instrumentation in over 70 countries world wide, with pressure gauges, thermometers and electronic instrumentation while continuing to introduce new product lines such as Winters highly customizable pressure switches.
